Chapter: Graduation Kiss

The day had finally come.

Graduation.

Section E was chaotic as ever, filled with dramatic sobs, loud celebrations, and a suspicious amount of confetti.

Kai had already declared his "ultimate heartbreak" five times, clutching his chest as if the weight of Ava’s relationship with Jae was too much for his fragile heart.

"I can't believe this!" he wailed. "The love of my life is leaving me for this brute!"

Jae shot him an unimpressed look. "You need help."

"I need her!" Kai cried, pointing at Ava, who was laughing so hard she nearly dropped her graduation cap.

Minho clapped him on the back. "At least you tried, buddy."

Meanwhile, Eli, Ava’s childhood best friend, was beaming with pride. “I’m happy for you, kiddo. You survived high school and dating Jae. That’s impressive.”

"Hey," Jae scoffed. "I'm the best boyfriend out there."

"Debatable," Eli quipped.

Lily rolled her eyes. "Can you idiots stop bickering? We’re about to graduate!"

The principal called out names one by one. The reality hit.

They were really leaving this behind. The chaos. The memories. The teasing.

But as Ava walked up the stage to receive her diploma, she saw Jae watching her with so much pride and affection that it made her stomach flip.

And when his name was called, she clapped the loudest, catching the smirk he sent her way.

After the ceremony, the real madness began.

Section E tackled each other in hugs, took countless pictures, and, of course, resumed their favorite pastime—teasing Ava and Jae.

"So, Jae," Minho drawled, throwing an arm around him. "Graduation is a big day, huh? A momentous occasion?"

Jae raised a brow. "Yeah, and?"

Kai grinned. "Perfect time for a legendary, breathtaking, earth-shattering kiss, don’t you think?"

Ava choked. "Excuse me?"

The whole of Section E started cheering.

"KISS! KISS! KISS!"

Jae turned to Ava with a smug smirk. "You heard them."

Ava's face burned. "No way, not in front of—"

But before she could protest, Jae pulled her in, cupping her face, and kissed her.

It wasn’t just a kiss—it was a statement.

A slow, deep, undeniably possessive kiss that left zero room for argument.

The whole section exploded.

"OH MY GOD!"

"KAI JUST FAINTED!"

"THAT WAS A MOVIE SCENE KISS!"

"JAE, YOU SHOWOFF!"

When Jae pulled back, Ava was breathless, dazed, and ridiculously flustered.

Jae smirked. “Now that’s how you end high school.”

Ava groaned. She was never going to live this down.
